Official Aviation Colors

We love aviation so much we paid special attention to even the finer details such as using official aviation colors taken from classic military aircraft. You'll see this on select models that use aviation yellow, red, and orange. These colors provide excellent visial contrast that are also used for aviation safety. You'll see this on aircraft areas that require pilots and ground crew to use extra caution while near by.

Model Varients

Yellow was chosen for the BYOP Navtimer's second hand due to the non-numeral open black dial combined with a detailed numbered timing bezel providing excellent visual contrast for detailed timing. BYOP Meridian's second hand uses orange which was chosen due to it's excellent visual contrast against the mostly non-numeral black dial while combined with the 2nd time zone bezel. Red was chosen on the BYOP Navigator's second due to the traditional compass needle which also provides excellent visual contrast with the compass cardinal points and indices on the dial in combination with the numbers and letters on the bezel.
