Quality You Can Trust

When deciding what movement to use in our pilot watches, we knew it would be a high quality automatic movement. We also knew we wanted it to be affordable, so we turned to Seiko. Seiko has been a trusted watch maker since 1881 and has developed a reputation among watch enthusiasts as a quality producer of some of the world's most dependable watch movements. Seiko's NH-35A automatic movement has proven itself time and time again and is used in many high quality affordable watch brands on the market today other than Seiko.

Our watch movements are self-winding and automatic because they are engineered with a "Magic Lever." You'll never need to replace the batteries in our watches while in flight because they don't need batteries. The mechanics in the Magic lever keeps the watch movement powered, and at a full wind, you' have a power reserve of close to 41 hours.

Our watch movements also are equipped with a special "hacking mechanism." This allows for the crown to be used to stop the second hand when setting the time, providing for precision time down to the second. The hacking mechanism is built directly into the crown. Simply unscrew the crown counter-clockwise and gently pull outward to the second position. This stops the time (including the seconds hand), allowing you to rotate the hands on the dial setting the precise time down to the second. When finished, simply push the crown back in and screw it down turning it clockwise until it tightens.
